Our DNA-based analysis for fungal identification supports growers of edible mushrooms and mycomaterials in the early assessment of contamination. Many fungi are difficult to identify visually, especially in their early stages of development. Precise identification is essential to enable timely and appropriate countermeasures.

• Sample shipment: Send us sealed, contaminated culture substrates or grow bags.
• Identification: Upon receipt of the sample, we will identify the contaminating fungus based on its DNA sequence.
• Informed decision-making: The results provide a basis for early mitigation strategies and for assessing the potential risk to future cultivation.
• Fast processing: Analysis takes between two and four weeks, depending on the fungal species. Once the sample is received, we begin the analysis immediately and communicate the results as quickly as possible.
• Report: After the analysis, you will receive a report containing information on the identified fungal species.
